Our Story

Andrew started taking piano lessons at the Headwaters School when he was only six years old. He was Fawn's very first piano student, and now at the age of 12, he has taken piano lessons for over five years! Not only does he play piano, he also began taking bass lessons with Cy this year.

Andrew says he likes music because of the many different varieties. His other favorite hobby is karate.

One memory him and Fawn still laugh over was during one of his very first lessons. Andrew came to his piano lesson wearing a red hooded sweatshirt. As always, he sat still and listened and played his assigned pieces. However, out of the blue during the middle of his lesson time, he reached his hand into his sweatshirt pocket, pulled out a half-eaten cookie, and took a bite! Nothing like a hunger craving in the middle of your lesson, only to remember you have a cookie in your pocket!
