MEMBERSHIP:
The
Headwaters
School of Music &
the Arts provides a unique opportunity for supporting the
Bemidji area in experiencing
arts education. The arts have always been an integral part of
our community activities. Music, graphic and dramatic arts,
sculpture and dance provide people of all ages a way to enrich
their lives. The arts continue to provide ways to relieve the
stress of everyday life while helping individuals to discover
new talents, abilities and sensitivities. Artistic endeavors
usually bring joy and smiles to everyone in our society,
especially when presented by children in their formative
years.
Headwaters
School of Music &
the Arts operates with the support of many individuals and
organizations. Memberships, grants and lesson fees are our
primary sources of income. The school provides a limited
number of scholarships for those in need as part of its
mission and must continually seek support from the community
to provide these services. Your financial contribution will
help provide students access to a world of possibilities they
might otherwise never have. Your financial aid will assist the
Headwaters
School to provide
ways for our students to explore their talents, identify their
strengths, and bring joy to themselves and others in the
community when they showcase their creative gifts.
As a donor, you will find that your contribution will benefit
the entire community for years to come. The students of today
will become musicians at the concerts you attend, cast members
of the local playhouse, artists at the art fairs and buyers of
the products of musical and artistic enterprise. Arts
education is in everyone's interest and enhances the quality of
life for us all.
