Headwaters School of Music and the Arts featuring Poet CarolAnn Russell will be presenting A Writing Workshop:

Images and Dreams: Archetypal Messages for Writers

~Open to Writers of Poetry, Story, Journal, Memoir~

This writing workshop is based upon the idea that the subconscious/Self is the real source of all creative expression. Participants will be introduced to a process which helps your subconscious articulate the archetypes which are already contained within it.

During Part I: Participants will be guided through a series of writing exercises to awaken archetypal "dreams/images" which underly all significant poems and stories.

During Part II: CarolAnn will discuss participants' writing in relationship to archetypal patterns which inform the inner meaning of the poems/stories themselves.

Part I: Saturday, April 17 from 1:00-4:00pm

Music and Memories

"My dad used to sing that to me every night!"

Such are the words often heard at our Music and Memories class at Neilson Place. Every Thursday afternoon at 1 pm, Fawn leads a class with the residents. Each week is focused on a theme, and she plays and sings familiar music to the residents.
